The beds are seriously comfortable, making it easy to crash after a long day. Plus, the water pressure in the shower is excellent, a definite highlight in my book.
The place is a bit on the cramped side, especially the bathroom, which felt basic despite the comfortable rooms. Wi-Fi connectivity was notably weak in the bedrooms, only working decently in the lobby, which can be inconvenient for those needing to catch up on communications. And if you’re traveling with a family, keep in mind the layout isn’t ideal for anything but short stays. There's no dedicated parking facility either, so consider your options if you're bringing a vehicle.

Steps Away from Serenity
The hotel's proximity to the Haram was brilliant. just a quick 1.5-minute walk. The room was refreshed daily and the bed felt like a cloud. Wi-Fi worked best in the lobby, where I enjoyed sipping tea while planning my day.

Spent 3 nights at the Rotana and I was quite satisfied with my stay. The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to Gate 5 of the Haram. The room was comfortable, featuring a nice bed, and the bathroom, while slightly cramped, remained mostly clean. The water pressure was excellent, ensuring a refreshing shower. Wi-Fi was quite poor in the room, working better in the lobby, which detracted slightly from the experience.

Spent 3 nights at the Rotana, located just a 5-minute walk from Gate 5 of the Haram. The location is brilliant, making access really convenient. The room was comfortable with a lovely bed, ensuring restful sleep. Complimentary water, tea, and coffee added a nice touch. the bathroom felt cramped and basic compared to the room's standard. Wi-Fi only worked decently in the lobby, which was a downside for working from my room. A later checkout time would have been appreciated since check-in is at 4 pm.

The location was fantastic. just a short walk to the Haram. The kids enjoyed the nearby shops for snacks. Our room was decent and comfortable, which made our stay pleasant while visiting this holy city with my teenage children.
My kids wished for better dining options for families.

Great spot for a group trip! Just a short walk to the Haram. Plenty of shops around. The room was decent, and the bed was super comfy—ideal for resting after visiting attractions like Quba Mosque and Mount Uhud. Don’t forget to enjoy free tea and water!
One downside was the Wi-Fi—it barely worked in the room, poor connection available only in the lobby.

The location is unbeatable, just a quick stroll to the Haram, surrounded by numerous shops for convenience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bed guaranteeing restful sleep. the bathroom was cramped, and the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, only functioning well in public areas. Dining options were limited, but the vegetarian couscous served was a highlight.

Perfect for family trips!
We stayed for 3 nights and the location was perfect, just a few mins walk to the Haram. The bed was super comfy! The staff were friendly and helped us find places to eat nearby. The breakfast had tasty options, especially the pancakes! My only gripe was that the Wi-Fi was really weak in the room, better in the lobby.

the shower pressure was a bit weak (didn’t expect that! ). but the location is super close to the haram (only 1.5 mins! the mini markets nearby were really handy and the room had complementary water and coffee (which was a nice touch).

the hotel is super close to the haram, it takes like 1.5 mins to get to there. the room was pretty nice and clean. They had complimentary stuff like water and coffee which was cool. there's some shops nearby for gifts and dates. comfy beds made my stay relaxing. also, rowdah entrance is near, so that's a plus.
but the bathroom was kinda basic and cramped, and the walk to the women's gate is a bit far, not great for elderly folks.
